I think he's an itinerant worker. Middle aged Korean male. The goshiwon mix is about a third students at local Yeuju uni. (well ju co really) and a third Gangwondo people looking for work. They are not a talkative bunch.
As for spiders: fengshui has been used by Chinese even before the Shang dynasty got its Heaven's Mandate. I don't know how it works, but it's good fengshui if spider weaves its web in your house. 
Note: I don't think fengshui took account of poisonous spiders but taranthalas don't live in China, do they?  |

I am also from the colder parts of England and I cant stand insects.
In all my years in England (including London) I had never encountered large spiders, cockroaches and mosquitoes. In Korea though I have seen and been forced to kill all of them on multiple occasions.
Although I never had a problem when I was living in the high rises, it was only when I moved to a place on the ground floor that I had to deal with them.
The upside is after a while you get used to it and I have become less and less prissy about large insects and far more adept at killing them quickly. |

Hmm.. i guess then its the 'thought' of having to deal with them in the future however when it comes to it, it is more that you need to and therefore you do it more frequently becoming use to it.
How do you clean up after it? i know it sounds odd but that alone will make me feel sick ( killing it) and have to clean my hands and arms about 5 times. |

My first kill was the hardest, I couldn't bring myself to clean it up and I just left it there under my English Time textbook. As disgusting as it is though I soon learned that it is more disgusting to leave it, now I just bite the bullet.
Try not to look at it directly, turn your head so you are only catching a glimpse of it in the corner of your eye. |

The only thing running through my head reading this is...EEEWWWWW!!! what if i touch it!!!! i hate it when you go to kill or catch something (animals and such..) and they to look at you like... " touch me.... and ill Rip you f***ing face off" and you slowly back away. |
