Thanks for the responses guys.
No, I am not trolling. When my friend told me what he had to do I didn't even believe him. He told me in a very serious voice and I knew he wasn't kidding. I feel sorry for the guy. I told him to wait it out and to go along with whatever his director tells him. What other choice does he have? Plus, he wants to finish up the contract so he can get his bonus, flight home, and rental deposit.
*BTW, when is Daves ESL going to be on Tapatalk? Tapatalk is a very popular Android/IOS app that formats all your favorite forums so they can work on your smartphone. |

| This site doesn't even have mods, you think they're going to upgrade to some newfangled technology? |

| Just let him know it could be worse. A few years ago, I saw a male co-worker dressed up as Snow White in a blonde wig. I heard about another guy having to change diapers. So it could be a lot worse. If he's actually getting paid in full on time, he's already doing better than a majority of teachers. |

I knew a guy with a PhD from Michigan State. When he came to Korea, he needed a job and couldnt wait for the unis to hire.
He took a job at an academy. So the boss was joking one day and said, you have to wear a clown suit. He said no. As it got closer to the day, the staff became more insistent.
Finally, the boss demanded it and he quit. While walking down the street after quitting, he walked into a uni by chance and they hired him. |

Just come in as the drunken clown, stinking of soju and cigarettes. Spill some soju on the clown outfit too. Paint 'TAKESHIMA' across your face paint and juggle hooker cards.
The boss will get the hint really fast.
In all seriousness, I would just say no. Flat out no, no negotiations. If fun is a problem, it is possible to make a class fun without a clown suit. Make Fridays into game day. Red light, green light, What time is it, Mr Wolf? and the sort. |

| That sounds fun! You should wear a gorilla outfit and then kids can throw bananas at you! |

Wear the clown costume, then take a **** on the floor, in front of the boss, children, and Korean mothers, and then walk out with the middle finger in clear sight. |
