Usually just for practice. Sometimes it's so Koreans with you also understand.

Honestly, though, I will rarely speak Korean to native English speakers. If I do, it's for one of those reasons above. If the person is not a native English speaker but speaks sufficient Korean, I would prefer practicing Korean to speaking English (until we started talking politics or philosophy - I lack the vocabulary Embarassed ).
