I'd say 9/10; one point deducted because I rarely get to watch televised sporting events -- and, when I do, it's too early to have a beer while watching.

However, spending any amount of time alone outside amongst the rabble causes that score to drop dramatically. The novelty of being gawked at wore off after the first year. Now, five years on, it's downright infuriating.

I regularly move from extremes: from heaven to hell. But the most important thing is that if you are experiencing hellish times, then surround yourself with friends or people who make you feel comfortable. Sure makes life easier here when you have a group of people who care, instead of acquaintances.

Not bad... highs and low, or just dreary same same...
There is a way to get a lot more out of life here though. It involves me having more free time, learning Taekwondo, and being fluent in korean. I'm a bit trapped in my present scenario for the time being, so, 6/10.

I also hope the whole subterranean anti- foreigner thinking changes sometime soon...

6/10 perhaps on average. Tolerable due to the easiness of making a living and generally being left alone. My rating might have been higher in the past. But the stuff you learn after a few years here makes it a bit more tiresome.

9/10
It has bad days... Seoul/Seoul area is really not the best of what Korea has to offer... that is, unless you want as much western stuff and westerners as possible.

Sometimes 10/10. Just not lately cause of not being in Daegu...

8/10 for me. A lot of highs, a few lows, and an awful lot of memories.

I don't think the question is well worded.

Korea? As country amoung countries? 4/10
Korean people? As a society? 3/10
My life in Korea? As in how much I enjoy my life? 10/10

The question is worded perfectly. I always word things perfectly.

No it's not. No you don't.

The question asks people to rate "Korea", and it's obviously not clear to people, as they have generally rated thier "enjoyment of Korea". The Beaver was the first to identify the distinction.

Delusions of grandeur usually relate to insecurity. Avoiding logical engagement when challenged relates to not having a leg to stand on.
