Interesting. Whatthebook carries my books (eg, the ones I wrote), but yesasia.com doesn't. I know who's getting my business when I get there. Wink

Yesasia has cut their book database by 90% the first of this year. In fact, if you go on their website you will see that they only have 1159 books in the general fiction section, general biography 171, general history 238. For books, yesasia has basically gone out of business unless you are looking for ones on the NYT bestseller list. The days of Yesasia are basically over (the company is run by idiots anyways) and I would like to think that I have had a small part in making that happen.

On the other hand, our website has over 1.000.000 titles to choose from and in most cases we are cheaper than Amazon because of their shipping charges. We also provide people with many different ways to pay (you dont need a credit card) and we are always available to assist you either on the phone or you can use our chat function located on every page on our site (please just dont bug me, read the help page first . Very Happy ).

DVDs, I am still mulling over bringing them here. It is a big step and I am trying to decide if I just want to concentrate on books or do like a whole internet mall. If I do sell DVDs, it would be the whole shabang. Just about every DVD currently being manufactured in the states. Don't know how many titles that is off hand.

Yes, and how many other bookstores have a real live person online ready to answer your questions?

Yep... What the book is the way to go. I just got some books delivered down here. Right on time. The right books. And I could deposit the money in the bank. I hate using my credit card.

Champion bookstore. I'll get some more next payday.

Do they help turn it into a large-screen TV with 5.1 (or 6.1, or 7.1) stereo surround, too?

Laptops and PCs are good for watching TV shows and porn -- not films.

I recently bought region 1 dvds from Amazon to play in China which is a region 6 code classification.

When purchasing a dvd player, part of the service is to ensure the seller supplies you with the "code" breaker number so you can play any dvd, regardless of region.

Whatthebook kicks Kyobo's ass but I just bought 5 books from Amazon.

Whatthebook: 5 books = $100 + free shipping = $100.

Amazon: 5 books = $60 + $30 shipping = $90.

What are the five books and the shipping time you choosed?

Let's see how well you type after working four months straight 70 hours a week without a day off.

It takes it's toll on you...

Just run a cable from your laptop's TV Out to your TV

If you want 5.1 sound on your laptop drop 40,000W on a little speaker set up over at Yongsan or Technomart...
