| I know one guy who tends to spend his pay in 3 weeks. Then he has to bum. I don't mind 10 or 20. Sometimes he repays me, sometimes not. I say dude you got to spend less than you make! He agrees and then blows his dough. Sometimes he buys for me too, though. Not a real cheapo, just a fool with money. |

I don't know how 'cheapies' look at themselves in the mirror.
I usually go out with koreans and a different person pays the bill each time. It works out real fair in the long run.
A couple of weeks ago I went out with a couple of korean friends and some foreigners. I went to pay the bill. When I got to the bar, it turned out, unknown to me, that their were different bills to pay. I ended up paying for my korean friends and myself. No worries there, but the other foreigners had their own bill. Between 8 of them they spent close to ten minutes trying to work out who had to pay for what. They worked it out to the nearest 100\. Heard things such as "you owe me 200\", "I'll pay you the 100\ later" etc.
These guys go out together on a regular basis, and I guess they go through the same events each time. |

| If I'm in a restaurant with foreigners and we decide to "go Dutch" I'll usually say nothing about an error if it's under around 20,000. Getting down to who owes who 300 won would be embarrassing. |

Could you imagine those old Thursday kalbi nights if we went through that process? |

Right!! Usually, I couldn't put my backpack on in less than 5 minutes those nights!! So doing advanced math might have been a bit much. |

I have to say in my experience foriegners are CHEAP!.
Only one guy I met was not, and would split the tab, ot cover it.
When it comes to paying for a meal, I am very easygoing. If you are short no big deal, and I will not keep acount of monies owed. But one thing I have seen, is that people will expect you to do that always!
Simple solution...DO NOT HANG OUT WITH OTHER WAAYGOOKS.
Unless you know them well....of course that means you might have to get burned before you realize someone is a stingy fool!
