I always find it kind of funny when people urge creativity and then use this cliché. I know you're just dashing something off the top of your head. Oh look I used a cliché there myself in a w/u urging people not to use clichés when stressing the need for creativity.
Anyway, it really jumped out at me once when I was reading this really cheesy brochure claiming it would teach business executives how to be more creative, be different, and "think outside of the box". It struck me as odd a brochure offering such dynamic thinking would use such an old cliché. |
