Intel launches dual-core processors for PCs
Pentium D chip designed for home computer users

The Associated Press
Updated: 8:41 a.m. ET May 27, 2005

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Intel Corp. unveiled its first mainstream home PC microprocessor with two computing engines on a single chip Thursday and vowed to sell millions of them by the end of the year.

The Pentium D processor and supporting chips will target home computer users, particularly those who run more than one program at once or have software that is designed to take advantage of the extra computing horsepower of the chips' dual cores.

Beaver: I've told you once.
Joo: No you haven't.
Beaver: Yes I have.
Joo: When?
Beaver: Just now!
Joo: No you didn't.
Beaver: Yes I did!
Joo: Didn't.
Beaver: Did.
Joo: Didn't.
Beaver: I'm telling you I did!
Joo: You did not!
Beaver: I'm sorry, is this a five minute argument, or the full half-hour?
Joo: Oh, just a five minute one.
Beaver: Fine. (makes a note of it; Joo sits down) Thank you. Anyway I did.
Joo: You most certainly did not.
Beaver: Now, let's get one thing quite clear... I most definitely told you!
Joo: You did not.
Beaver: Yes I did.
Joo: You did not.
Beaver: Yes I did.
Joo: Didn't.
Beaver: Yes I did.
Joo: Didn't.
Beaver: Yes I did!!
Joo: Look this isn't an argument.
Beaver: Yes it is.
Joo: No it isn't, it's just contradiction.
Beaver: No it isn't.
Joo: Yes it is.
Beaver: It is not.
Joo: It is. You just contradicted me.
Beaver: No I didn't.
Joo: Ooh, you did!
Beaver: No, no, no, no, no.
Joo: You did, just then.
Beaver: No, nonsense!
Joo: Oh, look this is futile.
Beaver: No it isn't.
Joo: I came here for a good argument.
Beaver: No you didn't, you came here for an argument.
Joo: Well, an argument's not the same as contradiction.
Beaver: It can be.
Joo: No it can't. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a definite proposition.
Beaver: No it isn't.
Joo: Yes it is. It isn't just contradiction.
Beaver: Look, if I argue with you, I must take up a contrary position.
Joo: But it isn't just saying "No it isn't".
Beaver: Yes it is.

Actually, I confess I didn't. I lifted it from somewhere and then used the edit and replace function on word to replace the original characters with Joo and Beaver. Then I copied it to here. Took about a minute.

I take it your not well acquainted with Monty Python? Wink

Feel like your morals are in conflict with your political hopes, guys?

I bet most of you read the news and think to yourselves, "Oh, how I WISH that Al Queda was just a little less horrible -- then I could feel better about hoping they ruin the US's plans of democracy in Iraq."

WTF ... I just saw this thread now. Of course this action is disgusting, just as it is when anyone puts an animal in danger or uses him or her for military purposes, regardless of the killer's political beliefs.

Man, you are the mother of all tools. A dumptruck full of hammers has nothing on you.

A demonstration of Derrek's thought process:

Smart person: "Boy, I really hate Al Qaeda."

Derrek: "Me, too! Bush is really kicking ass!"

Smart person: "I don't like Bush, either."

Derrek: "Huh? I thought you just said that you hate Al Qaeda!"

Smart person: "I do hate Al Qaeda."

Derrek: "Then you must like George Bush."

Smart Person: "No, I think he's an idiot and a liar."

Derrek: "Terrorist! Hey, everyone - this guy's a terrorist!"

Smart person: "What the hell are you yelling about?"

Derrek: "You love Al Qaeda!"

Smart person: "You fartknocker, I just said I don't like Al Qaeda!"

Derrek: "But you also said you don't like Bush!"

Smart person: "I don't!"

Derrek: "What?! Hold on, I have to get some paper towel - my head just exploded."
