Hold on? I thought they rather dominated. I wasn't in doubt for a moment. The backfield ball-handling and kicking for the Lions was particularly shocking. I was with a couple morose Irish girls at 3 Alley just for the occasion.

The Australia/Italy game was good for a laugh. Those Italians didn't seem to relish contact too much... they dove for the turf rather than take a tackle.

On a related note, I read I think in the Sun (London) that Jonah Lomu is trying to make a comeback for the 2007 World Cup. Any Kiwis know anything about this?

Jonah made his comeback in Martin Johnson's testimonial match on the 4th of this month. Unfortunately, he injured his shoulder and will be out for another 4 months after surgery, but he will be back!!

Drew the first test 30-30, lost the second yesterday 27-13. Springboks looked pretty good, going into the Mandela Cup and the TriNations.
