Hold on? I thought they rather dominated. I wasn't in doubt for a moment. The backfield ball-handling and kicking for the Lions was particularly shocking. I was with a couple morose Irish girls at 3 Alley just for the occasion.
The Australia/Italy game was good for a laugh. Those Italians didn't seem to relish contact too much... they dove for the turf rather than take a tackle. |

On a related note, I read I think in the Sun (London) that Jonah Lomu is trying to make a comeback for the 2007 World Cup. Any Kiwis know anything about this? |

Jonah made his comeback in Martin Johnson's testimonial match on the 4th of this month. Unfortunately, he injured his shoulder and will be out for another 4 months after surgery, but he will be back!!

Drew the first test 30-30, lost the second yesterday 27-13. Springboks looked pretty good, going into the Mandela Cup and the TriNations. |
