1) Take them off here in Korea, years ago in Oz I didn't wear shoes most of the time, in other places I have lived I usually left them on or went barefoot.

2) Yes, I needed to know this to get married (in Central America)

3) 20+ years ago NZ, 10+ years ago Australia, 1+ year ago Mexico.

1: Yes I take my shoes off in the house unless the floors are dirty from someone else wearing shoes in the house or if I'm just grabbing something quickly.

2: Yes I know my blood type. My mom told me what it is.

1- In Asia, yes. I prefer to take them off, but some folks in Western countries get weirded out if you immediately remove your shoes...and I don't like to play the "lived in Asia" card.

2- Yes, my mom made sure I knew that and my allergies as a kid, in case I got into an accident and had to go to the hospital.

1. Yes. Removing my shoes is the first thing I do upon entering anyones home regardless of the country.

Yes. Also took them off most of the time when living back home. I definitely take them off in Korea. This is due more to all the spit on the street than the "custom".

Nope. I've been in lots of hospitals both here and home, but I still don't know it. I refuse to give the students the satisfaction. As someone else mentioned, mine must not be a rare type as the doctors would have warned my parents of the dangers when I was younger.
