Zed?
Are you in the area?
I was thinking Saturday, but I just went back through the posts and see that we said the 25th, which is Sunday.
I would opt for Sat the 24th. What about the rest of you? |

Ok folks the consensus is the WEEKEND of the 25th, and the location is Duryu Park. Let's nail this down to something more specific.
Here are some suggested options (I'm just suggesting these since I started the thread):
Option A: Meet at the front entrance of Woobang Land, at 2:00 pm., on Sunday the 25th. Rides and the park for the afternoon, then head downtown for dinner and drinks in the evening.
Option B: Meet at the front entrance of the YMCA, Saturday the 24th, at 1:00 pm. (A slightly more convenient location for some). Then head down to Woobang Land/Tower, and dinner later.
How do you vote? You can PM me for my phone number once we've tightened this up. |

I just got an email saying I've got a teacher's staff meeting on Saturday the 24th at 10:30 am. And unfortunately I missed the last one.
Sunday is better for me, as a result, but if people prefer Saturday I can make it, but be a bit late as I am coming from out of town.

Saturday is preferred, Sunday is fine. I'm at the YMCA class as well. Anyone who's gonna be late just PM me or another Daeguite for their handphone number.
Meet anytime at U-bang Land entrance (Duryu Naegori) but I'll be coming late. Someone should remember some tunes. BYOB. Bring your picnic mats, hats, cameras, and sun screen. Long sleeves or jackets should be required in the evening as it's getting a bit cold. I'll have a Frisbee.
Duryu is very family and pet-friendly with lawns, trees, gardens, paths and single or tandem bikes for rent.
U-bang Land closes around 9pm, I believe. Daegu Tower is also accessible here. Entry fee is no more than 20,000won for both options.
Food is available at U-bang for a quick snack or a cheap bite to eat before heading downtown (Banwol-dong Yuk, Naegori) to a local entertainment establishment.
If you spend the night, yeogwans and goshiwons are available across the street from Academy Cinema (Jungangno Yuk) downtown area. In the morning, shop downtown, Daegu Station or even take a taxi to Seomoon, across the street from Keimyung University Hospital. Mountains, all but Apsan, are located 40 or 50 minutes outside the city and are a pain to travel to by taxi or bus.
Saemauel, KTX, as well as many express buses connect with the Daegu subway Line 1 at DongDaegu Station. There is an information booth outside the railway station, I believe to ask about locations, bus numbers, or any other information.
Anyone from around Korea is invited to attend.

Well, someone had to make the executive decision, and Saturday sounds fine with me.
So, 2:00 at Ubang Land. MOS, you initiated this one, is it good with you? |

What time do you finish. You could come after work as the festivities will last through the evening. PM me or any other poster going to call for a hook up. |

I considered coming, but I'm going through the final month of a string of tight ones. Going out to town (or even across town) to drink would pretty much blow my budget to smithereens. |
