Some people want the age raised to 21. Why? Letting men have sex with women at a young age totally flies in the face of everything womens' rights activists are trying to pull in Western society. Sure, it's OK for a woman to experiment, but the man should be found at fault if he's more than 2 years older. That's her right, but those evil men are perverts.

The whole message they put out is to go for your career, be strong like a man, and wait until you're older. You don't need a man. You can do fine on your own. The thing that kind of kills it is that women age quickly after, say 30, and suddenly they can't catch the man they feel they deserve, because the men start looking at younger women. Catch 22?

People have biological clocks. A woman's beauty glows brightly at a young age, but soon fades into wrinkledom. Most men aren't interested in wrinkledom. The sexual advantage women enjoy in their 20s comes back to haunt them in their 30s. Add to that the physical changes they encounter (body wanting to make a baby and causing psychological desperation and increased sex drive) and the outlook is not so great for the 30s and 40s aged women who can't find a man because they aren't a shinning star anymore, plus carry around a ton of "I'm a woman, hear me roar" baggage.

They soon find themselves in competition with younger women, and they become jaded. Wrinkled and jaded.

My straight male friends just don't want wrinkled and jaded, unless it's a one-night drunk stand they can run from. The continue to chase that shinning star.

A woman's youthful beauty is at it's absolute peak at age 17 (western age). Ever wonder why this is? Men are not perverts because they are attracted to that youthful beauty (because she's below 18 ). Men are attracted to that because it's the way they are made. But it's not PC to admit it. Am I right, guys? It's totally natural. For thousands of years, women around that age were sought after and got married, etc... in cultures the world over. But now, it's all about an 18 age limit. Why? Because it flies in the face of the womens' rights movement, as I said above.

Personally, I like 20-something men who act older, but that's just BBE's style. So what you're getting is an outsiders observation on the whole male/female thing here.
