the new pornographers are indeed on Matador Records so they're are indie...big indie at that. Actually, they're sort of like a Vancouver indie supergroup. They've been sort of one of the biggest things in the Indie scene for a couple years now after their first album was a surprise sleeper hit. "Falling Through the Clothes" is one of the best songs I've heard in a long time. Check out A.C. Newman, Destroyer, and Neco Case and her Boyfriends for more. |

Speaking if indie 'supergroups', Broken Social Scene have a new album out (or it will be out sometime this month- I can't remember now). |
