Just went today (wed) was told it would be finished on next week (mon) and it would be 84K.

I don't know if this is for the expedited visa though... because he just told me when I could pick it up and the price. He didn't give me an option. Maybe if I had asked more questions it would be a later date and cheaper??

Didn't feel comfortable because the guy was NOT NICE at all. oh well.


Directions were correct. Anguk station - exit 2 - down the street.

I just cabbed it though because I didn't have much time for the bus etc.

WOOO VIETNAM. Does anyone know if I needed to specify a point of entry? Because I only put my entry point.. and I don't know if he assumed it was my exit point as well... or if he didn't care... or if it doesn't matter... seriously. not nice guy at all. haha.

I live in daegu.

If i were to get the visa done on monday morning after the 9:30 opening time, would they send my passport back to me or would i need to pick it up in person?

you can either get a single- or multiple-entry visa. price is listed. pay for it with card online, wait for confirmation (about 2 days) and then print it out. when you show up in vietnam, the information is already there at the visa desk. but you need to have the sheets of paper they attach in the email. and pay with u.s. dollars.

when flying out of the country, make sure you have those papers as well because customs will look for your visa in your passport. once you show the papers and they see you're getting a visa upon arrival, you're fine. very easy.

Has anyone done this through the mail? I live in Daegu and I'm working full time and I cannot get to the embassy in person.

I also am getting some very angry answers when I call the numbers on the website. Anyone have working #'s for me?
