Yes, it certainly does...

New York born, New Jersey raised; New York resident as soon as I was old enough to move out of Jersey; will be in Manhattan after all these Asian years starting in September and now I am nostalgic for the Garden State.

Go figure.

We were all invited to click the poll, but it seems the Brits were asked to make a post also!

Posters on this thread to date:

British/English: 7
American: 6
Canadian: 3
Kiwi: 1
Aussie: 1
and one Canadian/Kiwi and one British/Canadian.

The VAST MAJORITY (almost all) the Brits who voted also felt the need to post a comment ( 7 of 8 ). Only a few Canadians ( a small fraction: 3 of 28 ) felt the need to post as well.

That is interesting! The sociologist in me has theories brewing.

We were asked to specify.

And I forgot to specify. Derby here.

(So why do people kill animals and trees, etc...?)

... I'm Americano! I've been a Floridian most of my life, but I was born and schooled in New England (Springfield and Amherst, Mass.) and received further education at Woodstock, N.Y., before landing in Coconut Grove (where I was shoeless - and clueless - for several years prior to joining the Krishnas...)

Satori, I had no idea you were from Azerbaijan!

Was it tough getting a visa to teach English?

How about a 'Korean' option in the poll? I'm curious to see how many Koreans frequent this site.

Near where I come from:

You're from The Shire?

Is it hard for hobbits to get E-2 Visas as well?

Fucking Korean xenophobia.
