My Korean proficiency is pathetic considering how long I've been in the country. A number of things got in the way. Initially time but no money then money but no time, then 3 years of grad school, now 2 kids. But I'm working on it, I just finished 10 weeks at Sogang and continue to put some time in every week. I'll be taking another semester at sogang come winter.
I can understand a lot, but cannot contribute to the conversation in a significant manner. Basically I suck. |
Yeah pretty much the same here. It's not about how long you've been here but how much effort you put in, and often it takes all the running I can do just to stay in the same place. |
