Teaching in Asia was my dream job after college, now it's being or working with a CEO of an internet auction portal, web service, or any othe r lucrative company. Also, being a real-estate investor when I return home would seem okay.
Although, at 38, being a husband/father would finally be a nice position to have. Gotta find the better half first. |

Professional Belly Dancer. I'm afraid of the instability of a dancer's life, ESPECIALLY a belly dancer where you can't even go to auditions... it's all on your own. Haha, if I were rich I'd do it just cause I love it (I danced professionally when I was in highschool, but it wasn't really about the money then- although when you land a job the pay is AWESOME).
I hate money. Grr! If only it weren't so important. *sigh* |

Whats funny I think most of my 'dreams' could come true if I just put my mind to it.. but my real dream would be be some kinda of governing body... stop the outrageous amount of money that professional actress/actores/sports stars make and put that money to better use in countries where the children are dying of starvation.
Either that or a pottery maker.... with my own business (plant nursery) on the side. (my retirement idea) |

| I really like being a teacher. To be honest, this is the best job I've ever had. I would have to say that my first passion is writing. I would love to be able to make a living as a writer. Another keen interest of mine is politics. I've always been a political animal. I've spent countless hours canvassing, working the phones, and banging on doors during election campaigns. I loved every minute of it. I have to get my "fix" these days by watching my DVD box set of The West Wing ( and I'm Canadian!). |

I've never had a dream job. Still don't.
I guess if I could get paid to go on vacations and travel around looking at things, that would be a dream. But I don't want to have to write an article about it after I leave, or take a bunch of photos while I'm there. |

You'd be too busy fornicating, too drunk, too high, and having too much fun to write articles, take pictures and all that junk. It'd be like homework. And you know what homework does: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I guess it would be a good way to get to sleep during your vacations. |

Prosecuting attorney would be a dream job-funny how a teacher would want that job.
ps you never got Pickle Lake out of your system and that is why it is your dream vacation |

| Honestly, my dream job would to be an astronaut, unfortunately my eyes immediately destroyed any chance. Even with laser surgery and 100% 20/20 vision, it wouldn't matter. Not that it would matter any more. I guess my next dream is to be an ambassador or an elementary school teacher, all of my ESL teaching helping me get there. |
I'm in the same boat. I wanted to be a pilot, but my eyes destoyed any chance of that, as well. I took the navy officer test, passed with flying colors, qualified as a navigator (my psychological profile didn't permit me to be a pilot ), passed the physical fitness test, passed all the medical tests, and then failed the eye exam. Even before I started off with all the tests, I asked the recruiter at Great Lakes if I could pass the eye exam to begin with (I have really bad eyes- bad astigmatism), and he told me to just do all the testing and we'd see what happens. I didn't qualify for anything as an unrestricted officer. The recruiter said I could still be in the navy, but I would be at a desk job. I said no thanks...
Maybe in my next lifetime... |
