I bought it in a hotel near the hot springs in Taejon. The Hong-In Hotel--I think it's called.

| Tried the Shabu-Shabu last night homemade. Not bad except the broth needs a bit of flavor. Do they ever add stock to the water in addition to peppers? |

That's an excellent question. Yes. I use a little bit of something called Zatarin's Crab Boil.
But the peppers should do the trick. |

If you'd gone up the road about 10 minutes to Shin-song-dong, you could have saved yourself about $275. And then you could have played on the swing set in the little city park next door when you were finished eating.
