Yankees lost yesterday.
But Kenny Rogers is on the hill tonight for the Tigers. He actually pitches like the singer during the play-offs. His ERA is over 8 during crunch time.
I'm going Yanks on this one. |

yes, I suppose having the support of Bulgaria, Thailand bettors and the Middle East would boost the prestige of being a fan of one of those teams. |

Some of us just like to see a game well played. But yeah I want to see the Yankees lose just because they have won enough already. Damn they have a great lineup though, just didn't hit much in games 2 and 3. Props goes to Kenny Rogers.
I'm also glad Atlanta finally didn't win their division. It's boring seeing the same teams do well for years. Some players and fans are just so lucky to see playoff action year after year, they can almost take it for granted, while others are on teams that never make it.
Unless the other team is your favorite, you gotta go for the underdog. Best of all though is a close game, well played, no matter who wins, as long as the yankees don't. |

1. Toronto Raptors ... these fools need to fold already and get their dirty flags away from Leaf flags.
2. Buffalo Bills
3. Buffalo Sabres
4. Hamilton Tiger-Cats
5. Ottawa Senators (but much more respectable now without Hossa, Hasek, Bonk et al) |

| I'm amazed at the number of people who seem to hate teams that win. Most of my favourite teams are from Toronto, including the leafs, and they don't win much. But I don't hold it against the teams that are able to win. I hate teams whose fans think they should be treated like they win even though don't (Boston Redsox, and if I wasn't from near Toronto, the Leafs). The false sense of importance and entitlement drives me insane. Get angry at the Yankees for spending more than any other team in baseball, but cheer for the Twins, not the Redsox who spend the second most. |

The team, or just the so-called "fans" that come out every 4 years? I have no problem with the actual team, but... |
