Let's not leave out:

Little Mr. Tired: Five years old, already burnt out, falls asleep in class on a weekly basis. Goes to one hogwan in the morning, a different one in the aftenoon, hasn't seen the business side of a nap in years.

Ms. Annoyed: This child (usually a pre-teen girl) who tolerates my being in the classroom, but just can't help but be annoyed by my thoughtless intrusions on her very, very important conversation with her friend. This child is spotted by her eye rolling and rapid fire Korean speaking ability.

The Awwww kid: The cutie kindy kid who makes kindy classes worth while. He is prone to yelling out "I love you teacher!" during class and wants nothing more than to cuddle with you on the field trip bus.

I tend to step on these pretty fast.

This is all of my kindy kids. I'm pretty lucky like that.

These are all good reasons why I will never teach children again.

Maybe you just don't know HOW to teach kids. I've been teaching elementary school students for five years and I have had very few students who were unmanageable. Give them a reason to respect you and they actually will.
