can't say that I witnessed anyone 'parking the tiger' C.O.

but kind of wish that I did, cos I would have felt much better yesterday!

we're all just amateurs compared to some of those hoary shipping types holding up the bars around this petite city ..
did you see that scottish guy with a guiness and 3 different whiskeys at his paws??

arms like pistons and a carburetor for a throat

I see that you posted your note last year, but I am supposed to be going to Goseong in May (2008) and your note concerned me. I will be working for GmB, teaching children.

My last job was in China, in a large University far from a non-descript city (Wuxi). While there were a group of foreign teachers, there were no other foreigners around. I swore that I would not go overseas again unless I could be in a large city and here I am going to Goseong, which from your description is exactly wanted to avoid. However, probably due to my age (57), I have not had many offers and none in Seoul.

However, there must be some pluses to it. Can you tell me, a year later (I know!) what you felt (feel, if you are still working there) were/are the good points of your experience there?

Thanks
Alia

Hi everyone,
If there is someone in Tongyong or nearby, a very dedicated pastor friend of mine, Bryan Lee, is looking for a Christian English speaker to help with a church music program on Saturdays.

If you or anyone you know is able to help, please contact us:

pastor Bryan Lee (he speaks pretty good English)
