For many years I've been appalled by its consequences in Pakistan, probably long before any of the loonies posting here had even heard of it!

BB...how many threads (not even to mention posts) have you started here where the topic was to condem sharia law and to further it's abolishment? I remember a thread or two about Iran's president, chavez being not so bad, and how muslim's have negative stereotypes in movies, but I can't really recall a thread devoid of the bush is bad theme, that pointed to sharia law as a problem in and of itself... |

The thing is she DOESNT think sharia law is bad. What gets me is that she pretends to be against it but will defend to the end the people who force it on others. And infact she has the gall to blame Bush for it still being in place while totally refusing to blame muslims themselves for it. And this is a woman who admits to socializing with extremists |

That's news to me. I said I knew a couple of guys (acquaintances) that had some sympathy for jihadists, but that my Arab friends did not approve of these guys' views, and had argued with them. Perhaps someone has serious reading comprehension difficulties? |
You admit it again. If you were a mentally healthy indivisual you wouldnt have such "acquaintances" |
You're a fine one to talk about mental health. You are some troll behind a screen who gets a little stiffy every time he posts something mean and nasty, emptying a sample of sticky love p1ss into his moldy, yellowing jocks as he congratulates himself for doing something he'd never have the guts to say in real life to anyone. You seriously need some f*ckin help, photo boy. |

Well, thats not very nice, jag.
Ok I do admit that sometimes I troll.
However I dont think I'm mean. In the case of BB here we have a woman who gets on her high horse, bashing the US like a good little liberal, and singing the praises of guys like Chavez who in his hatred of the US will support countries whose governments oppress their own people. Its this hypocrisy of baliming everything on the Americans while excusing, nay, defending evil doers the world over that finally got to me. If I was mean to BB then Im sorry, though reading her posts I thought she could take it. |

OK, maybe I was harsh, but the tone of some of your posts is beyond the pale. At any rate, I do not subscribe to this notion of labeling someone you disagree with politically as mentally unstable or the like. Being critical of the US, whilst I think is well overdone on the left (and sometimes the right, depending on who is in power), is often necessary. Blind obediance without critique makes us as bad as the bad guys you so rightly point out. |

On this site? Or in general?
What are the consequences if one were to accept this dare? |

Yes, BUT when you defend somebody who is far worse, then it just becomes absurd.
Again back to Chavez. BB says she is against Sharia Law. Instead of supporting the US' war on criminals who want to impose it on people, she champions a lunatic who who allies himself with such people to spite the US. Where is the logic here? Basially she is against a law but FOR people who impose it.

No. Why would I say that? But dont criticize the US for something and then support somebody who, directly or almost directly, is more responsible for something you are criticisng the US for than the US is. |
