So McGarette, you confess to being a moralist after all.....yet, you never seem to tell the moral, only chirp on about wolf in sheep's clothing. When will we get any of the bile that is really inside you and which those who can read these things; smell , sniff, sense, allude and generally puke over? Quit the con job, we hate dirty old men!
Oh yeah, about this thread. I don't give a rat's ass. pontification - which in your terms means Bridge Over Troubled Water....if you know your latin.

We humbly thank thee for thy benevolence and wisdom. If thou has a moment of thy precious time to spare, could I possibly impose upon you to respond to one of the PMs I sent to you.
If not, I beseech thee for a thousand pardons.
We turn to thee for guidance, for we know not our own limits of judgment, nor the earthly boundaries of discretion.

Which one? The one about your tears that were sent to us when MilwaukieDave was mocking you in his avatar and sig? If the message was supposed to be "Stevemcgarrett=faux hardass in public, softy in PM", yes, we got that message. At least Octavius isn't so handicapped with concern over cyber rep to keep him from talking normally to us in public. |

Glad to see the Mod Squad Team has finally dropped any pretense of professionalism by revealing the content of PM to them. Good job, guys. And since you bring it up, allow me to say that I only objected to his taking MY avatar and including it in HIS avatar with the word "gay." If it were true, so be it. But it's not; it's a blatant mischaracterization. Then again, I'll make a deal with you guys: Dave puts back his distortion of my avatar (which, by the way, I've never altered) and I get to put a distortion of the Mod Team's avatar? Fair enough? I was thinking of something along the lines of a hammer and sickle with the "Mod Team" superimposed? Game? |

Pliggers: don't you ever get bored of this? I for one love DD's writing style. If you want perfect grammar and standard language go read an academic journal. There're no rools here. Each may wriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite as he feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeels. I enjoy the variety of writing styles here. Drink in the diversity. |

Hey, I spend less than a half hour a day on this site, if even. Kinda odd that you'd accuse me of being a netizen when you've put in to be a moderator on this site, thereby occupying far, far more online time.
I suggest you look in the mirror next time you want to point the finger, chump.

I might predict you'll spend even less time here if you're rude to a moderator. |

Maybe so. But let's not forget that some of the moderators have been unprofessional by first disclosing a PM and then posting their little digs at whim. Seems to me if they can dish it out they ought to be able to take it.
But I don't expect fairness. I realized a long time ago that more than a few mods on this board permit their own personal allegiances and political biases to influence how they regulate posters.
And when it comes to leftists, they'll censor faster than those on the right. |

Steve the mods aren't your shrink. They aren't bound by any vow of silience. Man you take this way too seriously.

Really? The only "censored" post I've noticed:
- The English Spectrum debacle
- Antisemitism
I'm sure you won't want to claim antisemitism is an artifact of the "right".
What censorship are you speaking of? I've had a lot of my posts deleted. Is it because I'm too right? |

I was suspended for a week, had three of my threads deleted, and I honestly don't know how many posts deleted(could be many, could be few or none).
I suppose I'm a rightist now... |
