Alright.

I keep the names in my sig because I need to get over them. Jesus would forgive them, but heres me wanting some Old Testament vengeance. This is my weakness, fault and sin. He has shown me through you how far below Him I am, and that has given me great impetus to change and get one step closer to where He wants and where I want to be.

When I can rise above these posters, and that has taken a cathartic leap today, then I will be stronger in my faith; thanks to these posters, I am more faithful now than I was this morning.

You all have given me a chance to sample feelings that I shouldn't have and don't want and through this, I have been able to give more glory to Christ through rising above them, in accordance with His will.

I am not fully there yet, but all the postings today have gone far in my release and ultimately, my purification from what you stand for. I say thanks to you all and invite you to continue in your ramblings and rants against the unstoppable, immutable Lord. It serves me well and is probably doing the same for many others here as well. You have helped glorify Christ.

It is true that the Lord draws straight lines with crooked sticks. Cool

So, you can't handle criticism about the negative cultural ramifications of your religion without some kind of Taliban style revenge fantasy welling up in your puny brain. Pathetic. I would be happy to serve in hell than serve in your god's heaven. I relish the idea your god will damn me. Thanks!

My religious belief lies in Christianity. I don't dare call myself a true Christian as I always....EVERY DAY.... mess up and have to atone. However, I try to do the right things according to Christian doctrine.

I don't think anybody is going to flame Cubanlord.
He's not threatening anybody with a holier-than-thou stance.

Betcha if Cubanlord were a missionary, he could win more souls than those posters who gleefully pounce on every dangling participle they can find.

Not so hard on him, you guys.
At least he admits he's not perfect.
If he were dishonest with himself, he could rationalize his feelings as "righteous indignation."

Tomato, why keep starting religious threads? You've already been presented with the gospel: you've already made your decision. We all know your opinion 100 times over.

But you want to keep luring in Christians so you and the bandwagon can sit around bashing and insultinmg people who, as you know, are bound by the code of not retaliating. Rolling Eyes

Why not get on the case of world poverty or something instead?

I voted Christian. 3 pages and so far everyone has pleasantly maintained a relatively civil/sympathetic tone toward one another's beliefs. My hat goes off to everyone, especially Demophobe. I hope this tone lasts.
