Got it delivered to my parent's house at around 1pm Saturday & finished it by midnight ... with only a couple-hour interruption to go pick up my new mini-van on which I'd just had a hitch installed.
Good stuff... and I really enjoyed the last chapter. She gave a little look at Harry's future without going into too much detail. Left a bit to the imagination.
Kinda funny: I was so stoked about getting book 7, my dad decided to see what all the hype was about. He's now half way through book 1 & I'm leaving my old copies with him when I leave for Texas next week. |

I thought it was really good, right up to the last chapter. I wasn't thrilled with that whole denoument, I'd have much rather have preferred if she had gone into some details of, say, 6 months later, and then left the rest up to the reader's imagination.
I especially liked the part, though, when Voldemort made his Death Eaters perform a gay burlesque show for the sorting at Hogwarts. |
