Just received my D2 in the mail, UPS. Word of warning... The charger comes with an interchangeable plug. Since I ordered from the states, it doesn't have the Korean prong adapter. I'm assuming this is easily found/ordered when I get back to Korea.

bought the d2 4gb no dmb for 195,000 plus case for 5,000 at yongsan today

i was quoted 230,000 and my korean friend was quoted 180,000 so we went to buy the one for 180. the guy leaves comes back and says there is no a/s included with it because it was exported out of korea and then imported back in all the while trying to get us to buy the dmb version. so we talked to the other guys who confirmed that this guy was straight up lying to us and never intended to sell it for 180

anyway its fun and easy as hell to use

I bought the Cowon D2 with DMB for 269,000 at Himart.

I love it. It's great, but I wish it had external buttons to change music tracks instead of always going to the touchscreen.

I'm surprised how well the DMB works and the incredible sound quality this thing has. Ipods and Nanos (which main functions are as an MP3 players) don't have even half of the customizable equalizer/settings this thing has. Music sounds so much better on this thing than it ever did on my Ipod.

Unfortunately, I tried upgrading the firmware only to have half the screen go blank. I took it to Himart for repairs, so hopefully I'll get it back like new this week.

The various firmware updates have bugs, according to iaudiophile forums. I'm using 2.5b as posters on the aforementioned board have had problems with the 3+ upgrades. Remember that when you update your firmware, you'll lose everything stored on your D2 so save it. Sorry to hear about the problem. I've had zero problems with my unit thus far.

There is a setting in the menu system for that. You can change the volume buttons to forward and reverse when you've got the player set to "hold".
