| I think that the contract is crap! Even though you are a first-timer you can and will get a better offer than that.....The problem is that it takes so long to get everything done.....Be patient and don't take any offers you are unsure of.....You can pretty much tell what kind of boss you are going to have after you get your contract....And besides you wouldn't be here asking if you thought it was good......is it worth it??? I would keep looking if I were you..... |

Perhaps you missed the part where the contract was for teaching adults, and schools that teach only adults have historically paid less than schools that teach children as they are jobs everyone wants. Supply of teachers goes up far in excess of demand, thus the average wage comes down.
Yes, the contract was on the low end of things, but it's for a job everyone wants. A job everyone wants in a time when fewer people are hiring than a year ago. |
