| Thanks nateium. That linked article ties in with my recollection of the %'s of Canadians, Americans, Australians et al at the Gyeonggido foreign teachers welcome in Suwon last year. The school I taught in didn't like my Australian accent at first, either, but over time, I picked up a North American accent, probably from the US DVD'S I constantly played every day in class. Plus US culture is globally very pervasive. (I have no need to reiterate this to Canadians!). I grew up on US sitcoms & cartoons too, so it's not that hard to switch accents either deliberately or subconsciously. |

Ireland has no pure race philosophies, thats crazy. we have more non-nationals per capita living in ireland than any other country in europe. and if you were arguing the religious catholic side thats wrong too. organised religion is dying in ireland, only the old seem to go to church.
so unless you've got something to back up that stupid comment, keep your mouth shut. |

| Ireland by a mile. All these countries have beautiful women, so it would have to come down to accent and the irish wins it. An american female doesn't sound so intelligent. English girls sound like they are complaining the whole time. All the canadian people i know are a bit weird. |
