| I've got loads of basil to give away....so if you're in Nowon....final notice as we're switching over to cabbage and turnips for the fall. |

Hi - that sounds awesome! Do you have any cilantro/basil seedlings I could steal? I love krispy kreme and would gladly trade you some of that sticky sweet deliciousness for some herbs. I live in Incheon, but get to Seoul quite often.
Thanks.

Hapki and those who live in Nowon!
I know this is totally off topic, but I'm planning to move out to that area and I was wondering if you knew of anyone who wanted to rent their place. I'm looking for a one room or shared apt. that is cheap (around 450,000). I've been checking out different websites and they only advertise places in Itaewon etc. If you know anyone that can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! |

I've started growing sweet corn this year as well. My 5 plants have grown quite big so far. One of them is doing really great. I started them pretty late, so I'm not sure how far they'll get, but I'll definitely try again next year.
How far did your corn plants grow? |

I envy you people who seem to have actual land to grow things on... the concrete jungle is not terribly fertile.
Still, it is possible to grow herbs indoors, if you have eastern or western facing windows. For anyone who's curious, basil will definitely grow indoors here with only 6-7 hours per day of direct sunlight.
I'd love to try some cilantro... maybe next year, I think I missed the window this time. |
