Actually, the Canadian government has secretly hired a bunch of us men to come and steal women from Korea. Our mission is to bring back women to marry, reproduce with, and get our country's population up. As you know, Canada only has 32 million people (not enough to fill up our space) and we need more. This is the Canadian government's answer to our woes.
Also, we must make our gene pool bettered with superior Korean genes so that our race may someday become as great and wonderful as Koreans. As for overcrowded Korea, the Korean government has agreed to this secret plan, since it wants a slightly smaller population. They are willing to happily marry off Korean women to us foreigner thieves!
We're not really teachers. We are operatives here to take away your women, and our mission is strictly from our government to better our country and its people!

Thanks to those of you who have provided honest answers and also pm'd me. I appreciate it. I also got a laugh out of the jokesters in the crowd. Last night, after I posted one of my replies, someone signed me up for 10 or 15 mailing lists. I had to unsubscribe from all of them. It was a pain. So, I didn't respond to anything today, as I was trying to decided whether to chuck it all and just go on to something else. But I finally decided that just because one person acts like that doesn't mean everyone does.
I will be getting back to those who pm'd me, including one person who said a lot of Korean men were marrying white women. That could also be part of my article.
Anyway, thanks also to the person who said to stop hammering me. It's nice to have someone in my corner every now and then! |

I'm sorry to hear that. That was a very childish prank, and uncalled for. |

Wow ellimk! You have a Mindspring account, that means you've been using the internet for more than 7 years because Mindspring was a great internet company (Charles Brewer rocked) before Earthlink (cold hearted bastards) took over.
Elliemk, have you done a search for this subject? There have been dozens and dozens of threads over the years, I suspect if you had the time on your hands - you could really enhance your research. There are hundreds of people who aren't around anymore that have posted on such threads before and there is a lot of good material there. |

Any fine guesses as to which poster this was? |

Well that is a pain. Like BB said.. it's very childish.
BTW, I asked what I asked simply out of curiosity - didn't mean to be funny about it. I am western (although truthfully, I am born Chinese with a British passport) and married to a Korean man.. and was wondering why you asked western men who are married to Korean women and not the other way round.
Well, I hope you get your results for your research. |

Superfly - Yes, I've been with Mindspring for a very, very long time. As a matter of fact, my first connection with the Internet was when everything was bulletin board services - way before the actual "Net" got to be somewhat like it is now. Good idea about the research, etc. I'll follow through with that.
Thanks for the idea.
tzechuk - I guess it just seemed like it was more native speakers (men) marrying more Korean women than otherwise, but your point is well taken.
merkurix - Yes, I'm pretty sure I know who it was. |

Of course you know, it's your PM. Sorry, I guess I should have been clearer. The post was meant for others based on the content you provided ("tons of white girls marrying Korean guys"), it sounds like the uncanny MO of a particular poster. |

Thank you Big Bird! The wedding was wonderful. My mom came and stayed with us for 2 weeks and we had a blast.
PM you tomorrow with more... Too sleepy now. |

Well, the real question is: did you genuinely fall in love with her? |

Weren't you just complaining about your sex life and how you don't want it anymore? I wonder if you're ignoring HER needs. |
I wasn't complaining about not wanting it anymore. I was discussing whether or not it was normal that I didn't need/want it more than once or twice a week.
From what I've read here and around the web, we are quite normal. |
