Yes, why don't you google it and read it. Then get back to us. It'll probably help if you learn how to spell "limits" though.

Fixed it for you.

Still looking for the reason why Bill can't be VP?

You might want to read the last sentence in the 12th Amendment to the Constitution.

"But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States."

By the 22nd Amendment ("No person shall be elected President more than twice"), Clinton is not eligible to be elected President. Therefore, by the 12th Amendment, he's not eligible to be Vice President either.

Woohoo! Someone with at least two working brain cells.

The 12th Amendment refers to age and place of birth. i.e. you must be US born and at least 35 to serve as VP.

The 22nd just says you can't be elected to the office of President more than twice. It doesn't say you're ineligible to serve as President more than twice.

Not that it matters, Bill has no interest no being VP. But he'd most certainly be eligible for a cabinet position.

The reaction of JFK appointing Bobby to be AG pretty well preculdes a cabinet position.

I would suddgest his best position would be under the desk in the oval office, cleaning up shit spots.

It's bound to happen someday, and I think it might as well be now as later. Bill was a successful and popular president, and in my opinion, would make a fine "First Gentleman" (I really do wonder what they will call the first husband of a president). If nothing else, with his penchant for the ladies, I'd think he'd be a hit at hosting White House teas with First Ladies from other countries while their husbands and his wife are in the other room running world affairs.

I don't see anything odd about Hillary discussing what role she sees for Bill. It's natural that people ask about this with her since she is the first woman who is a viable candidate. The media asks wives of candidates what role they expect to play. Most choose one or two issues they focus on and it should be no different for the husband of a female president.

That seems to be true.

Again, I think Bill would be very entertaining as the first man in the role. I'd think he have fun with it and take it with good humor and a major dollop of seriousness. The only problem would be him outshining her. (And that could be a problem. We can only have one president at a time.)

I think he's still entitled Mr. President. So it could be, "Mr. President, Madam President" or something like that. Two presidents under one roof in the white house. Wild.
