Well I just got back from my first trip there and I'm bummed as hell. I did not want to come back to the cold, the snow, the stares, the boring food and the non-loose women of Korea. I cannot get Thailand out of my mind.

I'm going back as soon as I can, hopefully to live/work. Heck if I can only afford 1 good night out a week in Thailand that'll still be more fun than Korea...

Bangkok is a gnikcuf great city! I generally avoid khao San Bcuz its backpacker hell, but i love the vibe of the city. Im at coffee bean in Kuala Lumpur as we speak. KL is cool too, but doesnt come close to BKK

Bangkok is a gorgeous monster of a city. Most people never see the whole of it though, just the sukhumvit / grand palace / Canals / Kho San areas (which are cool enough in themselves, well Kho San can be draining and sad...)

Bongkok Chinatown is a MUST visit but I'll bet around 80% of visitors never even make it there. Hell I'd stay there if I was in Bangkok for a few nights over anywhere else in the city. Such an amazing, bustling, historical, international, aesthetic, colorful, cullinary, old world ovelerload vibe...
