I was supposed to meet a supposedly intelligent girl I've seen twice before. She's a Korean English teacher who has been abroad, so I assumed ou had some social skills and could read for content.
"What time we meet at Shinchon station?"
Me: "Between 6 and 630 at the latest."
text at 614 "Where are you? Were we supposed to meet at 6?"
Me: "I texted 6-630. I'm 2 stops away at Hapjeong."
"I finished class at 12 and I've been waiting since then. You make me wait too long."
Me: I texted 630 at the latest...
"You make me wait too long. I think I am going home now!"
"Have a nice night, Mi *****"
and of course I got the obligatory attention seeking message at about 840pm. Yeah, a lot of the time I'd rather be having a couple brews watching the hockey game |
