Shopped around Yongsan today for a US version...found ONE, the dude wanted 100,000 for it. Shocked

I want to play, but not that bad.

I got mine on Thursday from a shop at Technomart, during my lunch break. The first guy I asked had it and wanted KRW 65,000 for it. I frankly told him I was going to shop around. I asked three other vendors and they had no copies, so I went back to the guy and grabbed one of his copies. I don't know exactly how to tell what "version" it is, but on the back it says "for systems with PAL designation."

The game is cool. So much to explore and do. It's the only game in the world, I think, where on a particular mission you have to pretend to be gay and go on a internet-arranged date to track down a target.

The violence in the game is brutal. The combat system is leaps ahead of all previous versions. You can use cover; environments are destructable, to a degree; the cars are fantastic; and the lighting is amazing.

70,000 at Yongsan on Saturday for a version that plays on my korean Xbox. Others were demanding 85,000. After spending the last five days trying to get one at Emart, etc, I considered it a minor victory to get a kosher copy and a fun night out wandering around Yongsan for my first time.

The game's great. I think I'll be spending most of my long weekend indoors.
