Wrong on all counts. But to argue that point on this messageboard would be pointless.

Especially when you've got no fingers left with which to point.

Well yeah, but your average SNL viewer is probably not gonna make that fine distinction about who is being satirized there. You'll notice that the audience cheering redoubled when she turned around to reveal her McCain-Palin t-shirt.

Testy aren't we?

Don't worry Gopher, here is some humor especially for you (I'd post the actual image, but since we are not allowed to do that anymore, you have to follow the link):

What is your definition of anti-American, anyways? When does criticism of the United States government or society become anti.

This invocation of anti-Americanism seems like some kind of tool to bludgeon opponents who disagree with you. Anyway, didn't the last administration act anti-European with Rumsfeld calling France and Germany "old Europe", and didn't some in that camp speak of freedom fries. It is not like anti-European sentiment doesn't exist. Anyway, many posters here are Americans who, in many cases, simply don't like the right and some policies conducted by the government. I think a discussion is more elevated when people debate issues rather than invoking words such as anti-patriotic, heathens, Muslims, terrorists, anti-Americans, anti-Europeans etc.... It is really so old school.

ZOMG, this thread is rich.

Quote:
I received an email in a university community -- that is right, local B. Obama supporters unapologetically violating university policy by using university facilities to promote their politics, in spite of numerous warnings from dean's level officials to stop doing this (Obama's supporters have been doing this for weeks here)

Did you clean them up?

Quote:
These represent the average Obama supporter -- along with those who have followed the Republicans to their rallies with their camcorders to bait them or appeared at their speeches to heckle them.

Hmm. studied statistics?

Quote:
What is your definition of anti-American...?

This has been done to death. Most posters here (1) deny antiAmericanism exists; and (2) they especially deny that it describes their worldview and/or politics in any way.

This question is a non-starter. If I lift a finger to answer it, a million antiAmerican hyenas and jackals will converge and attempt to bite it off.

Of course, there are two problems with this:

1) You have accused most of the people on this board of being anti-american. How you acquired your "Olympian position" to asses who is anti-american and not is beyond me.

and

2) You, by your own accusations of anti-americanism, have paved the road to hell for you if McCain isn't elected a couple of weeks from now. Remember when you were a Democrat and trying to clean the liberals up? Well, as you've already predicted, once the conservatives start slinging their crap in January, you're going to take them to task and call them anti-american, right? If any of them suggest impeachment at any point, you're going to tell them we can't do such things in order to allay the contemporary partisanship, right? If Batman doesn't torture Johnny Depp in the sequel, you're gonna be all about how that's the reason people are watching the movie, right?

Finally, what makes you any different from "the average" McCain supporter? You're typical. You go to Obama rallies with a camcorder to incite hatred that serves your anti-american aims.
