what's funny is when people who don't know what they're talking about start getting all haughty about how much they know.
it's a great white. download the discovery channel show "air jaws" from shark week and you will see breaching great whites. this video is not CGI - it comes from the segment where they were towing a seal-shaped burlap sack behind a boat and the great white kept breaching to try and get it.
it's one of the most badass things you'll ever see. mininova is down right now but once it's up you can d/l the show. you will shit your mind. |

| This debate was going on on the Canadian Discovery Channel messageboards too - I thought it was an orca the first time I saw the clip just from the colour (and the spray hides a lot of detail), but wormholes101 is right - the shape and colour of the pectoral fins are the giveaway. |
