I wish they'd hurry up and make cell phones into mp3 players. WHy can't they make them so you can insert a compaq flash/smart media card and play your mp3s?

For anybody looking into iPods, you may want to check the Apple stores in Seoul. I was at the Yongsan one in the Eland building today and they'd marked down the 10GB iPods (clearing them out to make room for the 15GB "bottom of the line" model is my guess). The marked price is 341,000 won, but I paid cash and got it for 330,000.

I hadn't planned on buying one either. I just went in there looking for a firewire hub (They didn't have one - anybody know where to get a decent one? I looked all over today and only found one crappy one for 49,000, which I didn't buy.) I probably shouldn't go to Yongsan right after payday, but at least when I do I'm able to pick up decent deals instead of missing out on them. Smile

When they get the 15GB model in, that one will go for 407,000. I've only got 4.5 gigs of MP3s, so why pay more for size I won't need? (Yes, I know it can be used as a firewire drive too, but I've already got two of those.)

Anyways, just thought I'd share the info.
