The best eps of Star Trek was the alternate universe. I swear, they could make another Star Trek branch just from that.
I would pick The Outer Limits as best (old and new). Always new, fresh and different topics every episode.
Sliders tried to be that, but failed.
From the first episode, TNG made me gag. I was full of anticipation back in the 90's, but they just turned it into a very dated space soap opera! |

You do know that they did a tv movie that at least (supposedly) tied things up well. |

| actually, it was a theatrical release, and while some loose ends were tidied up, it was just a shadow of the original series |

Yeah, Blake's 7 was pretty sweet. I liked how it started off with a revolutionary hero as the main character, but then ended up with a bunch of jaded self centered characters as the protagonists. |

Yes, I know. It's shown on Korean TV surprisingly regularly. |

Can't comment on Blake's 7, but Lost in Space was cheesy, along with Buck Rogers. However V both the original Miniseries, V the Final Battle and V the short lived (one season) tv series were fantastic. I heard Kenneth Johnson (the original creator) had pitched an idea to do an updated version of V (like Battlestar Galactica did) but the network turned him down then announced they're doing their OWN version. Man I'd be pissed if I was him. |
