Prostitutes do not spread disease, unprotected sex spreads disease. I would be far more nervous about contracting anything from your average date who was willing to have sex without a condom than a prostitute that makes it his or her business to wear a condom every single time. Presumably said date is not a virgin, presumably if he or she was willing to engage in relations without protection with me he or she has been willing to do so with other partners. And I am also willing to bet he or she cannot be sure of the sexual history of his or her past partners. Therefore, pile of potential disease waiting to happen. Perhaps this belays other’s common sense, but until I see some real studies comparing prostitutes who wear condoms and a sample population of average joes and janes for VD contraction, I stick by my unorthodox view.
Panda-
Absolutely, never have sex again if that’s what makes you comfortable! Or with long term partners or whatever. I don’t find that pathetic at all, to each their own.
Oh, and we have a world population verging on 7 billion. For the love of god, people, stop making babies!!
HughCl- Pejorative as in it seems like I am promoting some sort of life changing philosophy here when really all I am is enjoying my twenties. And not even to any great extent. If I were a guy the numbers of my hook ups wouldn’t even be worthy of note. I’ve read some of the posts of some of the players on this board, and I have to say even if I were to cut their numbers in half to control for exaggeration, I would still find myself lagging behind. It’s the inherent shame factor (I am trying to get over this). Women don’t want to be sluts or called out as sluts. I know this is wrong and a product of sexist ideals, but I’m a citizen of earth like any other and I was indoctrinated form birth like everyone else. Hence, I try to not sleep with hot guys when your average western guy is making an effort to sleep with hot asian girls. I don’t try that hard, mind you, and I’m sticking by the sexual liberation won in the sixties (to be contrasted with today’s version of sexual liberation where women make out for the benefit of the men in the room and learn how to pole dance to be desired- exhibitionism is a kink like any other and I am willing to bet the vast majority of Girls Gone Wild-esque put-ons are for increased popularity rather than expressions of sexual desire).
That was a lot of words.

Prostitutes are the weak, even every women here said "we do accept prostitution" we knew that it was sarcasm, we live in a male-dominant society, women solely cant change how the society look down on prostitutes.
How many of you guys would accept your gf or wife slept with many guys, or used to be a prostitute, would you, HughCl? I guess the positive answer would close to zilch.
In prostitution, women are losers,to some extent, the world is a shithole, men play women as they are toys but they never appreciate the p-u-s-s-y they fucked. No matter how hard the prostitutes work to please them.
Under this circumstances, should I not comdemn prostitution? should I pretend I think it cool?
However, I know prostitution to our society is like masturbation to us human beings, its special need we cant deny. Only in the unknow future, when women could choose a job as a prostution and get respect, when the society wouldnt discriminate them, when men regarded them as normal women and would like to marry them. I wouldn say I support prostitution.
The same thing when I talked about a girl's personal life, aboxofchocolate, I have no intention to look down upon you, I never ever related you to s-l-u-t or anything similar(check my posts), I kept my own figure in my heart as well, but that is very personal a thing, I wouldnt share with anyone.....................Because the world is a big unfair shithole to us women (you mentioned), we have to protect us.
Men, if you want me to be honest, then you should not look down upon me if I told you I had 3 digitals...otherwise, I would just keep being hypocritical, cuz I want to get respect and have fun. |

Totally true, Panda. You pick your battles. It'd be like jogging up the down escalator all day to live a purely unhypocritical life in a male dominated world. I back down fifty million times a day just to get what I want from life (I chose a lot of male dominated pursuits so gender is often the elephant in the room).
Prostitutes and s-l-u-t-s (I'm using the word, not you) definitely get some unjust treatment and though I know a few guys who would date one I don't know many. That being said, I would rather be single for the rest of my life than date someone with that kind of unjust viewpoint. I didn't feel like this last year, but my Korean experience is making me less and less inclined to overlook injustice. I doubt many other women feel the same way.
I feel supported by women when they say, "Well, I personally am saving myself for my one true love but I fully support the sexually liberated activities of other women who do not share my moral outlook." |
