I really don't think it is rude for the guy to walk in front of the girl...I think it is his way of protecting her. If a car speeds by, he will get hit first, thereby protecting his girl. I have seen a Korean wife walking in front of her husband. That was strange. Guess she was angry or something. I have had a Korean guy walk in front of me and the same guy walked beside me another night.^^ |
princess, of course I wood walk in front of you-but if I saw a car coming I would get out of the way and not get splashed. |

That's the end of your chances with the lovely princess. Don't worry, I've got it covered. |

Look at it this way if 95% of all Korean men have a mistress (which I assume would mean that they are married) they are either sharing the remaining unmarried women or their mistresses are married as well.
There are simply not enough women (including imported Russian mistresses and female English teachers) to support a 100 to 95 man to mistress ratio.
It is statitically impossible. |
maybe some of these mistresses are with 2 or 3 married men. |

This is why it is proper for a man to walk on the street side. Also, a man should walk down the stairs first in case the lady falls, but walk up the stairs second. |

wow, such a gentleman! I appreciate the stairs thing- it makes it much easier to sneak a quick kiss from a guy who's a lot taller. |

| So, why can't other women recognize and appreciate a gentleman? Am I too old-fashioned? |

i went to a room salon with four 40ish koreans the other day...
they forced me to go
got a couple of girls come in and everybody had a dance and a feel..
i remembered this thread and i asked them.. everybody 100% yes.
it kinda makes me think 95% is not an impossible target |

Wylde,
They 'forced' you to go there?...oh my what did they do? Gunpoint? Knife? Blackmail?
Did you recover psychologically from this traumatic experience or will you need counselling to erase those horid memories... |

the room salon girls were not the people i was questioning the guys about...
i was told it was a noribang. 5 hours at a bar and we go to a noribang..
ok, i wasn't forced but i will use 'not worldly' enough to know better.
when we arrived.. i thought, wow, this is a pretty sexy noribang. i should have realized |

If so many women are taken, why are there so many seemingly available? |

I wouldn't go that far but geez, I post actual stats when I make my case, and he starts a thread based on what ONE Korean says to him. I've seen better judgement than that from him. |
