I agree. But then again I find myself almsot dismayed at their ineptitude lately.
They were great rivals for the Wings, but then they got moved out of the Norris (and the end of the Norris) and they are so weak its not the same.
Great rivalries deserve great rivals, not one side being a punching bag. |

Bah, those we're all bought and paid for by ESPN's official bribery.
Okay maybe 2nd greatest men's basketball program in the last 10 years, but definitely the best coach, I'm talking of course about the Tom Izzo led Michigan State Spar-tans. Plus there's the Fab Five from U-M. The team that redefined College Basketball, heck Basketball in general. |
You mean with payments to players? Yeah, a lot of other colleges started doing that after Michigan did, so I guess they did change college basketball. And Tom Izzo isn't the best coach. If I recall correctly he got trounced twice by my Tar Heels last year and THE best coach in college basketball today, Roy Williams
If you want to argue further over the best coach here's something that you should look at first:

Oh PLEASE! Cry baby Roy Williams is not the best coach in basketball. I went to Kansas though, so I am biased.
I really can't stand Duke, and especially Coach K. Why does he get the rosary out and pray during games? Give me a break, if you believe in God, wouldn't you think that he had better things to do and more important things to watch and worry about than a stupid college basketball game? |

What does this even mean?
Are you angry that I called Roy Williams a cry baby? He does cry in public quite a bit. It was a dick move for him to say that he would retire at Kansas, and then quit and go to North Carolina the next year. But, I think that the Kansas basketball program is doing very well under Bill Self... better than we ever did under that mangina Roy Williams. |

Yankees/Bonds
Cowboys/ Tuna
Rangers (except when Messier was there)/ Avery-Roenick tie
Lakers (Knicks don't deserve my contempt)/ Marbury
AC Milan/Rooney
All motor sports except rally driving.
In short, any organization that tries to buy a championship or any great player/coach who lacks civility.
But it's just sport- nothing important, really. |

while i hate the patriots (they've thwarted my chargers too many times), i think tom brady is a great QB. i can't hate the guy.
i dislike the diabetic cutler and wish he had stayed in denver rather than going to the bears.
and i am definitely a raider hater.
eli manning is a bit of a bitch as well.
adrian peterson just because he's so damn good, but not in a brady finesse way. just in a brick wall, video game character kind of way. |

American Football, Baseball, and Rugby, collectively.
In terms of franchises--
Manchester United because we have them shoved down our throats in this country for obvious reasons.
Real Madrid because any team that has Christiano Ronaldo will earn my wrath. I hate that pr1ck.
LA Lakers from any era.
The Detroit Red Wings.
Olympiakos. |

12 in a row against the Bills (dating to 2003?). I heard that's an NFL record (and a great win to start the season, since it was obvious they're gonna need to get their act together to be real contenders).
My vote: J-E-T-S. Why? Recent history, I guess. |

Why?
I'm English but I still love Diego so much. Apart from the hand of god thing he was the greatest player ever to play the beautiful game. That one person could be so much better than anyone else at a game played by so many is just astounding. Shooting journalists, calling George Bush the devil, sticking enough Peruvian marching powder up his nose to kill a Shetland pony its all fun with Diego. |
