Well, think of it this way (I know there's probably a rule where you are not supposed to avoid the censor with asterisk placement, but, seeing as this is a quoted phrase, I have to say it:
"A key that opens a bunch of different locks is a MASTER KEY.
A lock that is opened by a bunch of different keys is a Sh*tty LOCK."
