| Yep, the MS site said "Driver issue or general hardware fault". I did a driver rollback for my video card but got another anyway. Basically I hope its ram 'cause anything else is a much bigger hassle. |
Try looking in your Windows event viewer, in the Administrative Tools menu. It should tell you more about what happened. |
You were right the first time, it was heat. The top of my CPU heatsink just under the fan was clogged with a shit-ton of dust. First time I've ever run into dust causing over heating. Yay for free solutions |

Picked it up this afternoon for the 360. It's quite a load of fun a few hours in.
On another note, they didn't have any copies of Dragon Age: Origins any where at Technomart. |

Most of the game vendors at Technomart / Gangbyeon have a few copies for the 360. It was displayed front and center in most of the glass displays. The game is in english, dialogue, text, everything, but the packaging is in Korean. Price was 55,000 firm but I traded in a bunch of games as well and got them down a bit. |

I am stoked to get this on 360 as well, gonna trade in some old games I dont play anymore to help defray the cost.
[quote="gillod]MW2 should be fine. . |
Would't count on that. MW2 isn't even gonna have dedicated servers ffs.
You poor PC guys getting shafted again. I am in no way being sarcastic, it is a real shame the way the gaming industry has been treating PC gamers the past few years. I used to be one, but simply migrated to console when I moved to Korea.

MW2: No dedicated servers; only 18max online players (was 64 player since cod4); no lean; no mod tools and an absolute disabling of any possible modification (people think the files will be locked down for modding too, but we don't know yet); hugely jacked up price gouging; 0 ping for host, bad ping for client(unfair), disgusting attitude by IW. None of these features were disabled in the previous game and it was a normal price.
Don't buy MW2, if you do you are getting a six hour, direct single player console port and that's it. Multiplayer won't be worth trying; it'll be a lag, noob, server re-allocating fest. |

Sounds to me like the gpu is overheating and the performance issues might be occurring because the clock is being ramped down. I'm not sure if this feature is on those cards, but it happened on my laptop, although that was the cpu to be fair. |

Does anyone know if this is true about the PC version of Borderlands at Technomart too? I asked the vendor if the game was in English but they said they didn't know. I don't want to end up buying it and then getting stuck with a Korean only version.
I really need to find a place where they sell English PC games.
Any help would be appreciated. |

| I took Brick up to L37. I tried continuing on in a 2nd playthrough, but it just got tedious. The enemies are a lot harder and don't give crap for experience. |

I have the same question really. Where can I get titles that are in English? I've been dudded before (when I was a noob I bough Fable 2 in Yongsan based purely on the assurances from the vendor that it was 'all in English' (it wasn't, and it is impossible to play when you can't read anything).
I can read Korean now, and can see on an Xbox title where it mentions language...but PC Games don't seem to do that. Is there somewhere we can check online? A preffered vendor? |

So what happened, was the cpu ramping down because of overheating? |
