location and demographics go a long way when it comes to forming relationships among western females here in Seoul.

first, OP, where do you live? if you're anywhere more than a 15-20,000won cab ride away from hongdae or itaewon then you're in for an uphill battle. luckily, myself and other guys included have been able to date western-girls who live in Seoul proper ...but i've been rejected countless times given that I live in Suwon. let's just say i drunkenly crashed at the jim-jill bong at 5am a lot in between relationships. "gotta work for what you want!"

second, how old are you? a lot of these foreign girls are fresh off the BA-boat and as i've noticed recently, are getting A LOT prettier. i guess you gotta thank those superficial kids for making above-average physical appearances a requirement on the application! granted, i can say with confidence that the new generation of female english teachers are more attractive and coming in droves.

you also need to have the garden variety set of values (patience, endurance, stamina) ...putting in full on friday and saturday nights of drinking in itaewon and hongdae is hard work on the body!

but don't limit yourself to just drinking. get into a lot of foreigner networks. the weekend afternoons are prime for meeting foreign girls out and about. i'm not a hasher, but i know a lot of girls who do it. shit, i met a girl at a book exchange at 3pm on a saturday afternoon and ended up seeing her for 3 months.

if you make it a priority then you'll come out with some results--not to sound like an asshole, but you mentioned you fancied western girls but had no clue about clubFF--which in my opinion, is alright, but the focal point of the better clubs in hongdae. make hongdae your hub, that's where all the girls are and also, the military are unable to go there because of how close the womens' univeristy is to the vicinity of the clubs--ASSAH!

i hope this was helpful, however, if you could only manage to absolve these women of the boyfriends' they left behind... haha, i hope you look forward to that mess!
