The Toronto Star is a leftist rag but the absurdity of the whole summit has to be acknowledged....
I'll wager 98.5% of all Canadians have nothing but contempt for both the protesters and the Harper government's planning & handling of the whole sorry affair(sorry esp. for taxpayers).

He "tasted fascism first hand!"
Did he? If he had "fascism first hand" he'd be ... dead.
Phoney, pseudo-"revolutionary".
In my world, where workers reign supreme, this dish rag phoney would do 10 yrs. hard labour. |

Then there is Jagi Singh (sp?). He's another of those "I'm an anarchist for government" types. "I hate Starbucks". Wahhhhhh.
Too bad. I can't stand the banksters. |

This guy is trying to create a bridge between the police and the citizens of the population and form a relationship between the two, hence "The Love Police".
Because the last thing we need is a bunch of corrupt cops who like to abuse their power and go on petty power trips and hurt innocent people.

I've heard that the reasons for holding these G20 events at major cities instead of at some resort is because it allows the local police to train for martial law within the cities and the country. |
