Those rags to arrogant riches stories are oh-so common here. I am not fazed.

I think the guy out of 2AM is a great choice. Almost made me smash the tv in yesterday when he was guesting on a show and weeping about how "poor" his family was when he was young. Sickening stuff...

It seems they don't have the concept of overexposure on TV here. It's 24/7 of the same couple of comedy troupes mixed in with guest "talent" like 조권 from 2AM...I agree with the OP, that guy is ultra creepy.

I refer to him as "Rat boy".

lately... Peirs Morgan. That dude is very Brittishly (no disrespect to you Brits) annoying. He chuckles at every quasi-controversial question he asks as means of self defense. His attempts to be funny or witty are always futile. His questions don't engage the interviewee in a deeper way. His fav. question, "If you could relive one moment of your life what would it be?" is extremely boring.

Damn, I just realized I really don't like this guy.

Brangelina: Self-righteous show offs

Sara Palin: same

Brad Pitt all by himself for always managing to be with a woman who makes him look likd a better man than he actually is.

Angelina Jolie all by herself for stealing someone else's husband and having a whole litter of kids to make the two of them look like nice people...poor kids. I wouldn't want celebrity parents...look how well Bristol Palin is doing...would you expect any better?

Charlie Sheen, and anybody who admits to having "partied" with him recently. I guess I'm out of touch with American celebrity these days, but I saw some footage from outside of the Golden Globes where some really tattooed woman admitted she had a "fun weekend" with him. Ew.

Eminem- I think he's so annoying.

Jessica and Ashley Simpson.

Kardashians... although, I think Kim is really, really beautiful, like I could accept her as some kind of perfume model. But why is the whole family famous?

Not a celebrity, but there's a new Samsung car ad rotating on OCN in which some voice loudly whispers at you. I'm not entirely sure why, but it sends me seething, cross-eyed with rage every time I hear it.

One of the lovely things about living here. I don't know who they are.

Oh, don't tell me. It'll spoil the surprise.

Actually in all seriousness, I have never felt this out of touch with western music, movies and celebrities. I kind of like it. Now that I look back at it, why did I ever care?

I feel the same way. Russell Brand is huge in the UK and he's made it into Hollywood. I've never even seen or heard him perform.

I got addicted to www.dlisted.com

It tells you everything you don't need to know about celebrity...

Without this site, I wouldn't know this crap, either... Sad Wish I didn't

I stopped having tv in Korea, so none of that bothers me these days. Very Happy

But whenever I come across Lady Gaga references of any sort online (a picture, part of a song, anything) I wanna gag. I can't imagine the sort of overexposure people have back home to that. I feel sorry for them.

While we're on the topic of commercials, what about the one with the four women in yellow pants dancing? Totally creepy. I don't even know what they're selling, but their tiny yellow stick legs remind me of spiders or something.

he is right though. even though I don't have to do that. but I understand that old generation.. just look in the movies from the 30s and 40's.
it was common for a woman to receive a backhand or a slap.
just like some parents feel they need to spank their kids , others don't

but I will say this... SEAN has some gumption for going on international television and saying how it is.
most men would never say it, deny it, etc.. he is like straight out with it.

*ModEdit

Which is why I dislike the man.
