I second the "korean girls" motion. I never contracted yellow fever, but I've never seen met many unsatisfied, yearning women in my life.

in no order:

kpop
telly
high speed net
INSANELY cheap public transport.
Korean sense of humor.
The people - seriously, the biggest thing ill miss about korea.
Ondol
motels everywhere
dirt cheap net cafes
the food
my students (who are adorably sweet).
the river view i have from the 9th floor of my apartment complex (its literally outside my house), which then loops around a small mountain.
The fact that rural for almost everywhere (bar tiny islands) in korea means youre about an hour away from a city.
ondol (im going to miss it a lot in japan).
the girls (sorry, i know, but korean women in their 20s are quite quite stunning, i also acknowldge that the boys are also very pretty too though i shall insist im not gay).
almost no tax (im from UK).
Zero rent.
muju is a laugh even if it is NUTS.
Indoor snowboarding at bucheon.
how easy my job is.
how much i get paid for it.
and how much i can save without even trying.
homeplus (tesco!)
Jeju air
1 month vacation in january/february - im going to miss this.
Graduation ceremonies that are kinda appropriate for middle school (unlike in japan to be honest - do you really need a massive all day ceremony for students that automatically pass on to high school?)
hongdae. Sorry, i know, but im jeollanamdo kid, its a big deal and ive never had a bad night there unlike gangnam and itaewon.

The way everything is so communal like game rooms, eating out etc so it's easy to find something to do with friends.

The cute themed cafes.

Some of the music Cool

Constant compliments from Koreans, they really think my ghostly skin is pretty.

My students.

Bupyeong underground mall and all its weird and wonderfully cheap merchandise.

The cheap jimjilbangs, I would happily sit and roast in there all day.

The transport system is infinitly better than at home.

And yeah it is nice to not have to pay rent and council tax!

I am sure there are some more but I that's all I can think of now.

I find it astounding that this thread got this far without anyone mentioning the jimjilbangs earlier. I feel sorry for anyone who has yet to experience the universe of the jimjilbang.

sorry, no real wish to be with a bunch of sweaty, naked men.

if they allow me inside a female jimjilbang I may change my stance.
