Getting into debt is one of the worst things one can ever do for themselves and thier life.

Not necessarily. I lent rather a large sum of money to a friend (in return for 25% of his business) who couldn't get a loan due to his poor credit history. He now owns 75% of a successful business as opposed to 100% of nothing.

If he only owns 75% of the business that's not debt. If he owns 100% of the business but you hold an interest in the 25% as collateral on the loan, that may be debt.

If the latter, I hope you've given notice to third-parties.

It only took me 6 months and I work at a public elementary school. 22 hours a week teaching. I hardly call that working like a "dog". Whoever said I believe in the system in the first place. I paid it all off before interests started accruing. Now that is called beating the system you idiot. I don't know if you got student loans or not, but if you do, you sounds like some bitter guy who still got the ball and chains wrap around his leg. Now shut your mouth and stop trying to project your bitterness of korea and your life onto my accomplishment.

He never wants to go back and you shouldn't either, or you are invalidating his personal choice to cut off all hope of ever returning to his home country.

He's obviously insecure about it, or he wouldn't come into every one of these threads and insult the newly debt-free.

Congrats btw. It's been two years for me. Great to see the bank balance go up, instead of debt going down.
