I was always busy~I'm not an overly organized person but I did make time for all of those things (didnt skimp on the teacher self care or I probably would have burnt out over the course of 2 years)~maybe I have a lot of energy~and I got the job so somebody thought my volunteer work was a plus Smile Volunteering has been a part of my life since my senior year in highschool~so maybe they just realized it's part of my lifestyle?

Hopefully that gave you some insight and answered your curiosities...

If you are really struggling for work then form a band of like minded individuals and go on a rampage.

For a young man to truly prove his worth he must reap skulls for his tribe. Go forth and reap skulls. Break stuff, smash windows, set fire to things. Kill, maim, burn etc

What is best in life? Remember the words of Arnie.

Go forth angry young man and claim your birthright. Form a band of young warriors and forge a trail of destruction and mayhem. Reap an abundance of skulls and scalps for the dark gods.

Your parents will no longer fear for your future when you bring home a caravan laden with gold, furs, and slaves.

Your old students may not remember any English you tried to teach them, but they will sing songs of your deeds: the sorcerers you slew, the busty tavern wenches you screwed, the giants you wrestled, the gods you defied, and the camels you punched.

Unemployment benefits discourage people from taking jobs they feel are beneath them.

Or they can use it to help them improve their marketability when they reenter the job market.

Ideally, they should be doing that with or without government money. A better idea than lengthy cash give aways would be loans to be repaid.

Rising unemployment has left Americans with more spare time on their hands. But those free hours are largely being frittered away, a new government survey finds.

What did people do with that extra time? Mainly they slept and watched TV.

There was virtually no change between 2007 and 2009 in the time devoted to volunteering, religious activities, exercise or education. In sum, time people might have used productively is instead being squandered, says University of Texas economist Daniel Hamermesh.

"It's not like we're using the recession to build our skillsthe skills are depreciating," says Mr. Hamermesh. "It's a waste."
