Yep and I discussed one part of what you said: Ministerial level (Education) and related (indirectly) my experiences in the Public School system.
Heck in my last school we had a running feud in the teachers room. It involved two groups of teachers and led to shouting matches between them, thinly vieled hostility and other low brow tactics.
Each group "reported" this to the Principal. He had sitdowns with them, told them to stop the nonsense and solve their issues. That just made the conflict less open....
Crap it happens all the time and is quite different from harrassement right? In such a case, there are mechanisms in place to deal with the issue.
However, conflict between co-workers will always occur, someone snapping at someone else is not exactly an earth shattering event that crushes the life out of anyone now is it?
Seriously, is a co-worker snaps at you, deal with it one-on-one. Going to management for this would be a joke, really. |

Not for the ministry paddy, for the council.
Anyway you can pee off if you think I'm going to spend time trying to prove I know what i used to do for a living.
And in KOREA if a wayggok tries to deal with it in person, the K teach can lie to the VP or principal and I wonder who will be believed....
Any way
blah bler blah bler bah ber blah (which is all anyone in the peanut gallery and any posters outside of the apologistas hear when you guys post anything.)

I did not debate or question what you did for a living Floating. Now you have me confused with another poster in here....
Why would I doubt what you said about your previous employment? It was perfectly credible.
One one issue however: you seem hard locked into this duality of us (wayguks) vs THEM (Koreans) and to apply it to ALL facets of life in Korea. When you do this, Koreans are presented as some monolothical evil group who look down on and seeks to abuse foreigners.
Well the reality is hardly like this because nothing is ever so cut and dried.
For example, I for one HAD problems with a few KOREAN co-workers, one of which was extremely difficult. I took it up with management, calmly and used facts. Oddly enough, HE was rebuked and I was vindicated. Go figure...
I have also seen the reverse....go figure.
Now seriously, you seem like an intelligent person, why would you subscribe to such a simple-minded view of things as Koreans baaaaaaddd....us gooooood?
oh and to speak in a code you get perhaps
oh and
